Here I’m trying out a new preamp tube, a Sylvania 12AT7 with the date on the box saying 5-1960! I love this tube, it doesn't break up til much later than the 12AX7 I had in there (prefer to OD with a tubesceamer) even though I REALLY like the overdrive of this tube when I crank the preamp, 5 watts is still REALLY loud for the house! Can't wait to gig with this amp. I'm running it though a homebuilt open back extension cabinet loaded with a 100w 12" Eminence British series speaker. 2006 MIM Fender Stratocaster and a thumbpick! This is not intended to be a showcase of my guitar playing, but rather the tones and sounds possible with this this amp/tube/guitar combo. Thanks! Hope you enjoy. I guess it'd be better with a backing track!
