Eddieandlynn’s travel blog entry: "At 5 am, it's completely dark and we arrive in town. People on the bus are half asleep when everyone pushed off and into the empty streets of Udaipur. The only folks out are the tuk-tuk drivers. They ask us where we are going and I mention a random hotel near the lake. We, of course, don't have a reservation, but we know the area we want to be in. The driver immediately say, oh that one is closed, come to my friends place, he'll take care of you. I tell them all I need is a ride. They then say 100 rupee. Oh yeah, its on again, I counter with 30. "No, good price is 70 rupees". Lynn walks away to flag down another driver, she is having none if it since she is half asleep and has to pee, the first driver says "Ok Ok". I'm hoping the guy is driving in the right direction. He's is on the phone either trying to set things up at the hotel I had just mentioned so he could get a commission or setting us something else, my senses are on overload. I notice the name of the hotel I was actually thinking of checking out and I say "right here is good". I get out, pay them quickly which leaves him in mild shock, since he just woke up his buddy with the hotel. Lynn stands there with the bags and I start walk into the darkness.
