As it is not yet the busy tourist season the ferry that we were hoping to take to Positano is not yet running, so it will be the SITA bus for us. Bus tickets can be confusing to buy here. Local bus tickets are available at the tobacco shop, sometimes at a bar, sometimes at a coffee shop. We finally find a coffee shop that is selling the ticket that we need. The girl is really helpful and sells us a 24 hour pass, which is cheaper and which we can use again to get back into Sorrento again tomorrow. What she fails to tell us that because it is Sunday the buses do not run a regular schedule. We wait, we wait. We ask other bus drivers about our bus. Yes, this is the right stop for Positano, no worries. We are standing next to a flower shop and as it is Mother's day there is lots of action at this stop. Scooter after scooter stop, run into the flower shop, come out with flowers and balancing them on their scooters off they go. It is an amazing balancing act. We are also standing at the entrance to an apartment building and we see a variety of little girls arriving with parents (and flowers), we think they must be visiting grandmothers.
