Nolthafer’s travel blog entry: "We woke up around 8 the next moring and made some breakkie. Took a stroll down to the beach and had a great time. The surf was out and all this seaweed was ashore. April having taking many marine biology classes was an expert on all the stuff we were looking at. Starfish, shells, sponge, coral, etc, etc.... I was VERY amazed and it's funny how colorful and fun seaweed is up close! We then did a bit of yoga and then due to popular request I was asked to summon some cheers from the past for Emily. Funny how most of that I've forgotten except for a few simple cheers that I had learned back in 7 and 8th grade:) That makes me think about how a girl I work w/, Vilasini thinks that I'm extremely eclectic what not w/ many secrets behind my belt: growing up on a farm, being a cheerleader, Belmont's Junior Miss, playing the saxamaphone, my artsy and crafty skills:-) Suppose that's what makes me, me. So we then headed back to camp and had steak and salad for lunch, YUM and a drink which made April and Emily pass right out. I was doing good, so I went back to the beach to collect more shells and write. Here's my lovely poem. A calming, relaxing force, churning in circular motions.
