Similar to my earlier XPD-8 experience, I could never get the Art Tech Wing Dragon to fly at all. Several years ago, after a hand launch, I would fly crazy for a few seconds and spin head first to the ground. For that reason, it was kept in a box under my work table for several years. Lately, I started to think about what I was doing wrong and the mental image I got was the model was tail heavy and it was stalling - no flight videos then so I could not confirm my hunch. Because I beefed up the elevator and rudder so much, the tail must have become so heavy and the CG was off. It became a challenge so took it out of the box one night and moded it to run a 2410 BL and 2.4g radio system. I also replaced the servos and clevis to rule out control surface problems.
