Being self-centered as a young child is natural and normal. If a baby weren’t self-centered, his caretakers wouldn’t know that he was hungry, tired or in pain. But as a child develops and he matures, he needs to learn to focus outward, on needs of others. Learning humility is part of that maturing process. Humility is putting others first by giving up what you think you deserve. Today we will talk about that as a family.  We are going to have a great time as we learn the virtue of humility. It is wonderful that the kids are in the worship center with us to learn about this valuable virtue that Christ demonstrated for us. When we understand that it’s not all about us but about our God, we can remember to put Him first and to put others first. We are glad you are here.
