La Normandie. Ses plages. Ses touristes... Et ses fossiles. Nous sommes à Villers-sur-Mer, à 7km de Deauville. Il y a 160 millions d’années, une mer tropicale recouvrait tout le paysage. A la place des traditionnelles vaches normandes, ce sont des ammonites, des huîtres ou encore d'énormes reptiles marins qui se partageaient les flots. C'est ici que le 20 avril 2011, un musée a ouvert ses portes : le Paléospace. Sa particularité ? Nous faire découvrir la faune jurassique marine. Adeptes des traditionnels tricératops ou diplodocus, passez votre chemin. Ici, vous croiserez non pas des dinosaures, mais des reptiles marins.
