"Wolves/Dogs" Installation. Description: It is intentionally set in the back room of a gallery, with the aura of a clandestine space, an in-between space, perhaps for initiations, divinations, or maybe its some cult’s D.I.Y. teleportation device (it is). The room is silent except for sounds coming from elsewhere. Pillars and glaring figures hide secrets: water videos project and reflect stars, vibrating constellations, shapes reflected and refracted in unexpected places. A tiny reflection of a monitor in the corner has hybrid animal/human erotic scenario with water stars. The square in the center was used for dance and wrestling matches, including undocumented ones by strangers who had nothing to do with the piece. Recordings of all activity accumulated in scuff marks, crinkled tape, and rumors, thus adding to psychic charge. The square had noticeable vibrations in the air around it, due to all the cathode ray tubes directed at the center and reflecting off multiple surfaces. That and the fact that it was really a magic square acting like a tape head or a ham radio, summoning deities.
