Angel is a super-sweet 1-2 year-old Black Lab/Shar-pei mix female with a great disposition. You can see the Shar-pei in her cute little ears! Angel came to Canine Lifeline from an overcrowded rural county dog shelter and it was clear that she’d had a hard life. She arrived at the shelter nursing a litter of pups even though she's a very young dog herself. Her pups went to a different rescue and she came to us. At first, Angel didn't know what to make of all the attention she was getting. She didn't know how to play and was very timid with people and other dogs. Now that she's been with us for a few weeks, her demeanor has changed completely. She's lively, energetic, and eager to make new friends, both human and canine. She seems to be enjoying the puppyhood she may have never had! Angel is crate-trained now and seems to be housetrained as well. She loves wrestling and playing with other dogs so would make a great friend for another active young dog. She'sspayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on Frontline Plus flea and tick preventative.
