Shot 12/16/2010.## Fifteen all-electric vehicles built in Indiana will be used by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, marking the first U.S.-built, federally certified electric cars sent to a fleet in the country, Gov. Mitch Daniels said Thursday.  The cars are coming from THINK, a Norwegian-based company with production facilities in Elkhart. "We’re proud to be the first customer," Daniels said. "We believe that the coming era of electric cars, like THINK, will find its home here." Energy Systems Network donated the vehicles to the state at no cost, using federal stimulus funds and private donations to fund the purchase. DNR said the vehicles will be used at several state parks, including Fort Harrison, Brown County and Lake Monroe, among others.
