(Czech)" K1thomas’s travel blog entry: "When we got to Prague at midnight, my friend Kristin and I went straight to our hostel. The other two girls were staying at a dorm building with a friend and we had to find our own accommodations. And good thing we did because it was the nicest hostel I stayed in the whole trip. I wouldn't even call it a hotel where you usually have to share a room and bathroom with 12 other people and students are everywhere and it's never quiet. This place that we stayed in was more like a hotel. We got our own room with two beds and a connecting bathroom that is shared with the room next door, but no one was in it. The room was large and had a ton of closet space. There was free buffet breakfast in the morning and a kitchen we used two nights to make chicken, peas and carrots that we got at the local grocery store. The first day we saw a lot of sights like the Charles Bridge, the astronomical clock and Wenceslas Square. We also met up with some Americans studying abroad in Prague, where they took us out to a traditional Czech meal. I got goulash again and it was different from Hungary, but still yummy. Traditional food in Czech must include dumplings, beef and pork, so the students said they were getting sick of all the heavy food.
