Josh didn’t know exactly what kind of research he wanted to pursue, but he wanted to be able explore many options in biological research. He heard about the Molecular and Cellular Biology program and discovered he was encouraged to look at many different lines of research and areas of interest before making a decision.   As part of the MCB's externship program Josh joined a private biotech company in the Seattle area, gaining valuable insight into basic research outside of the academic setting. Making contacts and pursuing his research led him to a collaboration in England engaging in advanced research on aging. From the Series:Molecular and Cellular Biology PhD Graduates
