03/30/2010 So I made it to the top of the gulley.. Now I gotta head back down! This is the fun part... Climbing down off a potential iced-over ledge, sinking knee-deep in the snow, falling several times, all the while having more fun than I’ve had in years. It really is a great thing.. Though I must admit, the thought of possibly causing an avalanche with all my trampling around did cross my mind a couple times! Thankfully this never happened, lol. However, a butt-slide sure did... For about 20 feet I'd estimate, though that may be a bit of a generous estimate.  Either way, hope the video is enjoyable, I certainly had fun making it, and deciding which of my favorite musical BGM tracks to put on it... Comments are very welcome! For those of you wondering exactly where I was at the beginning of this video, search for "61.103705,-149.635091" on Google Maps and that'll show you... Or if the insight is working, maybe that'll show you. But be sure to check out how far it is between that point, and the parking lot to the left of it. Quite some distance... I remember I left the truck at about 12:30 and got back to it at about 3:45... And let me tell you, my legs were letting me know they did not appreciate this the next day!! Haha they'll get over it.
