Ella took up dance six years ago after telling her mum she wanted to be a fairy. She might still be lacking wings – but today Ella’s flying high with her impressive moves. Ella started learning ballet when she was six-years-old after telling her mum that she wanted to be a fairy. Abandoning her original ambition, Ella later took up street dancing and travelled the UK competing in freestyle, slow dance and hip-hop championships. Since then she has won the Street Dance World Championships aged 10 and the UDO Championships with her group, Sweet Flava, two years ago. Last year Ella was offered a scholarship to the Italia Conti performing arts school in London where she learns Jazz, Tap and Contemporary dance.  She was accepted onto the CAT (Centre for Advanced Training) scheme at The Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Greenwich, where she dances every Saturday. In addition to this, Ella attends Pineapple Dance Studios on Sunday’s and rehearses alone for half-an-hour every day before school. Although her family is based in Cornwall, Ella’s parents have gone to great lengths to be near Ella and her new school and have been living in Travel Lodges in order to support their talented daughter.
