In the wake of the September 11th attacks, Middle East expert Robert Satloff examines the forgotten history of Jews in North Africa during World War II, hoping to uncover lost stories of Arabs saving the lives of Jews during the Holocaust. In the course of his investigation, Satloff discovers not one but several incredible stories of survival, bravery and compassion involving Arabs protecting Jews from persecution.
