Earlier this year on only one broadcast on national tv, there was a short announcement, that we have entered into a mini ice age.  Then the story was squashed, a media blackout? I just happened to see the broadcast. I believe it! Most of the time when people think of ice age, they remember the movie, and think of instant freeze, or the snow that never stops. But during a mini ice age, there are hot and cold extremes, super storms and in other pockets, life just goes on as before. The Chille earthquake moved our planet away from the sun a few inches, and with the magnetic shift in the earth...no one knows what to expect. I just listen to my land....farming for 1/2 a century. Never have I witness anything like this in our valley. Autumn has already begun in our valley. The cherry trees are turning bright orange, yellow and red. Our dogs shed for only a couple of days, and then stopped. They never lost their winter coats. Since January my group has been discussing this subject, because of the super storms we have been having. In January we had a heat wave, my carrots matured and so did the parsnip. Then it stopped, and we had deep freezes and winds up to 112 MPH. Now we are in the low 40’s in the early morning. When it should be 60's in the morning and 70-80's in temperature. Surrounded by thousands of acres of organic farms, it rained 1/2 and to 1 inch per hours. The organic farms are still too wet to plough. My zukes are bearing fruit, but they are only 1 ft. across. We had heavy fog, that never comes until late September. The zukes are already getting the mold on the leaves and will die soon.
