Neason’s travel blog entry: "I arrived in singapore at 7pm, took off most of my layers and stepped outside into the sauna. splurged on a hotel and spent most of the evening watching high quality tv shows with subtitles and using my internet for the first time in months! in the morning i went for a long walk along orchard road, one of the longest shopping streets in the world. spent a lot of time going into shops to get out the extreme heat! i walked to the huge markets full of clothes, watches, jewellery and souvenirs. then i headed to arab street where the middle east neighbourhood is. it was really pretty at dusk and i got dinner from a moroccan restaurant. the next day i repacked my bag, left it at the hotel and caught the metro to china town. i walked from there to the river and quay area. i walked along the river past all the pretty restaurants and out to the bay. almost melted hanging out at the merlion and then caught a bum boat back up to the quay. i made my way back to the hotel for my bags then metro-ed out to the airport. had some delicious hungry jacks for dinner thn enjoyed my 2 seats on the plane!"
