(CIT): To mark the 35th anniversary of its establishment, the Fogarty International Center is hosting a two-day scientific symposium. The symposium highlights the potential of research to reduce global health disparities and the benefits of investing in such research, and will address four major areas: why global health matters, challenges and opportunities, building research partnerships across geographic boundaries, and the impact of building research capacity in developing countries and at the local level.
