7/1/2010- Citigroup analysts upgraded Janus Capital Group (NYSE:JNS) to buy from hold, with a $13 price target, and reduce their 2010 EPS estimate. The bank now sees fiscal 2010 EPS of $0.60, down from $0.70 per share, vs. consensus estimates of $0.70 per share. Analyst William R. Katz said that the thesis from here is, "1) favorable residual value following extreme "burndown" analysis on INTECH attrition should support the stock; 2) highest misery (sentiment) index in coverage group could drive a "melt up"; and, 3) among most levered to potential upturn in US equities markets/flows." Citigroup sees fiscal 2011 EPS of $0.70, vs. consensus estimates of $0.80 per share.
