A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by TravelPod blogger Toltmanns titled "Kuala Lumpur" Toltmanns’s travel blog entry: "2010-09-28: Left Singapore early morning and caught the bus to Kuala Lumpur (KL). The bus (StarMart) for 20S$ was really comfy (3 stretch out 1m seats per row) so I got some sleep. Arrived after a 5 hour ride and checked into the Pondok Lodge which has a double room for 50 Ringgits (ca. 11€) with a hot shower on the floor and a nice roof garden terrasse. Walked to the Petronas Twin Towers which is about 15min away, but couldn't get up to the sky-bridge, since admittance closes at 9:30am. Might meet Hyzal tomorrow, a guy I met on Tioman Islands. He lives in KL and might show me some KL highlights. Went to the Reggae Bar across the road and got flirted at by the waitresses, which are most likely paid girls, so I kept my distance. Found a place next door (TwEntyOnE) with free WiFi, so I got the password and can use the connection from the hostel :) Spend the evening drinking wine at the Gypsys Bar talking to some guy who's doing real-estates in KL and got to bed at about 4am. 2010-09-29: Hardly got out of bed today, but went downtown Bukit Bintang, which is the shopping area of KL and just around the corner. Nothing special though after Singapore :) In the evening I met up with Hyzal and a couple of other travellers and spend the evening at the Gypsys Bar, which is funnily one of the most popular bars in Jl Changkat ...
