Carincronje’s travel blog entry: "At 7h40 we were already on our tourist bus, ready to start the journey via Copacabana to La Paz in Bolivia. I am quite excited to go to Bolivia, as I had to do the planning and was excited to experience and see this country of variety. Our bus, 40 Soles (£10) was quite comfortable and seemed like a much better bet than our previous experience to Puno. We also saw a lot of tourists that we have already met along the way. The bus was quite empty, so we had lots of room to sleep and stretch out. It was beautiful as we drove for quite a while along Lake Titicaca. We entered Bolivia at about ten o'clock, which was immediately a different ball game as in Peru. No English at all, and they were quite rude. The immigration office made me think of the driving license offices in Bethlehem back in South Africa, and also the same bad service. As the only South Africans in the room, we had to pay for visas to enter Bolivia. Lindie passed this way yesterday already, and sent a text that it will cost us US$60 each, and we must be able to pay in US$. Which we had with us. But then they didn't want to accept our money and we had to exchange it into Bolivianos (currency of Bolivia) and in the end it only cost us about $52.
