Australian band The Jefferson is in Austin for the first time playing during South by Southwest.   The band’s new single, “No Surprise,” a hard love song, more than highlights the talents of band members: songwriter Geoff Rana’s sweet, gritty lead vocals and smart lyrics, Jared King’s drivin’ bass guitar, self-taught Andrew Turner’s rockin’ electric and acoustic guitars, and Andy Hovarth’s beat-building drums.
