David Danelo talked about his book Blood Stripes: The Grunt’s View of the War in Iraq, published by Stackpole Books.  David Danelo, a former Marine captain and Iraq War veteran, talked about his experiences, and the experiences of his fellow Marines, serving on the frontlines in the Iraq War. David Danelo was deployed to Camp Fullujah, Iraq, in 2004. He also described the experience of joining the Marines and talked about the September 11 attacks. While Mr. Danelo answered questions from members of the audience, he was joined by former Marine corporal Jared Stevens, whose story was told in the book.
