Viewers have watched the clip on Maddow's page on MSNBC and through the extensive embedding of the video on sites, including The New York Times, The Huffington Post, Salon, and many others. MSNBC.com was the first major network to make its videos sharable with an easy to cut-and-paste embed code. The Wednesday night broadcast received 1.1 million views at 9:00 PM and 440,000 at 11:00 p.m., according a spokesperson for MSNBC.
