Police arrested a person of interest in the serial rapist case in the Waldo area of Kansas City.  According to Sgt. Stacey Graves with the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department, shortly after 4 p.m. officers took a man into custody in the 3200 block of Thompson. The man is a person of interest in the serial rapist investigation and is being questioned by detectives. Neighbors said police swarmed the neighborhood. Several people then watched the man run from officer before being caught and handcuffed. "Cops just started coming from every direction," said Shawnte Rouse, who lives a block away. "It was scary for me. I’ve never seen so much going on." Devon Dunson said he had noticed the man walking down the sidewalk before, but thought he had only lived in the area for about six months. Dunson also said the man lived "in a shed" near the home. Victims have described the serial rapist as a black male, about 6 feet tall and 250 pounds.
