You cannot help but notice the special connection between the man and the women. He stand tall, strong and proud, passing his energy to the women, as he leads her around the dance floor. The women graceful, yet spontaneous, flicking her limbs in passion with the beat of the music. Johannes and I went to a one hour tango lesson, followed by an amazing performance from a local band. The leed singer, sang with such passion, shivers pulsated down my spine. It´s not easy learning how to tango normally. It´s even harder when the teacher explains the steps in another language..... After learning the basic steps, I soon realised it was more enjoyable watching it, rather than dancing it. To dance like the experts would be amazing, but that would take months of commitment. Dancing the basic steps was to be honest, slightly tedious. Drums, simplicity in it finer form. To create a fusional master piece from several of these basic instruments is always a pleaser to witness. We attended a swanky percussion show Monday night. The highlight was listening to the saxophone chime in to the beat of the drums, simultaneously lifting the mood of the crowd.
