(KATIE SCHINDLER/ SHILOH SENIOR) I can’t believe it's my senior year. I've been playing basketball since I was a seventh grader and last year we went to state. It's been awesome memories for us. It's like I should be worried about other things but immediately, I'm thinking basketball. (TIA STREETER/ KX SPORTS) Two years ago, Katie had a benign cancerous tumor removed. They thought that might be it; but in October the cancer was again found, (KATIE SCHINDLER/ SHILOH SENIOR) They said everything was fine and then I was looking forward to living my life again. I wasn't too worried about it, and so the second time it's a lot more questions, and not knowing. ( TIA STREETER/ KX SPORTS) The doctors don't know exactly what type of cancer it is, and Katie says the unknown is the hardest part....but they're treating it with chemo, and hoping for the best.
