Wow, so this looks morbid! Just to clarify there is nothing wrong with Dante, he is doing very well at the moment learning to go on the bit with a bit of help from our friend the side reins :P Obviously still a long way to go as sometimes he over bends, some times he doesnt do it at all etc, but he is learning. :) As for Willow, not so great -Last saturday I found her with a lovely deep puncture wound on her right leg, it’s a lot deeper than it looks in the video. So I've been treating that every day, but yesterday I couldnt't get to the yard and asked Penny (yard owner) to do it for me, and she texted me saying there was heat in that wound. So we thought great, infection, and decided to see how it was today and if it was still hot call the vet. Got there, I lifted up her rug to have a look at it and it looked lots better! It had started to clear up etc. Put her headcollar on, asked her to walk on, and she was lame. Got her onto the yard and inspected her, trotted her up etc and saw it was the other leg she was lame on, and then found the other wound I told yo about in the video, on the inside of her left leg. So Willow is feeling a bit sorry for herself at the moment, but give it a couple of weeks and she should be fine :) Also, IT'S NOT ME RIDING DANTE in this video. :) It's my friend Immy, www.youtube.com and the grey I do a jump on is her loan horse echo who is an arab, and coincidentally came from the same horse auction Dante did, but years and years ago and now ...
