A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Binnelong Bay, Australia by TravelPod blogger Lgnyla titled "The wonderous Bay of Fires" Lgnyla’s travel blog entry: "On day two of our adventure we venture into Binnelong Bay, where there is a statue of a woman from mid-thigh on up, clothed in a bikini, with her hair very windswept, as we leave, we see the backside of her as well. This is the second time so far (in only two days) that signs/statues have featured both front and back pictures, is there something strange going on here in Tasmania that those on the mainland don't yet know about?! We then head off to Friendly Beaches (what is so friendly about them we wonder?) where we will spend two days in the breeze, sometimes gale force, basking in the sun, that you can feel baking you within 2 minutes, and chilling with the locals, wallabies of course!! two of whom are way too friendly and due to some not so careful human visitors, think that people food is their food, and constantly try to get way too close to the camp stove, and anything we have around the campsite, thank goodness for the security of the Corolla!!! Friendly Beaches is beautiful, and because we got there so early, we get a beach side plot of land for the tent, absolutely marvelous, to fall asleep to the sound of the waves, and wake up with the morning light casting its glow on the water, my favorite campsite of the trip."
