I really liked the city. It is so big and chaotic, so hot and humid and a little bit dirty. The only thing I really disliked was the fact that there is no real city center. Another thing which was really embarassing was is the behaviour of many tourists concerning women and prostitution - REALLY EMBARASSING. They feel so good and strong because of having money, but they do not understand that there are things you can not buy and there should be ethic concerns. It was a hard week - getting up early in the morning, some cultural program, in the afternoon shopping and going out in the night until early in the morning. I went to Ayutthaya, the former Siam capital which was amazing. Many temples and big statues of Buddha. There were no tourists and I went from spot to spot by TUKTUK. There was a cloudburst, I never saw so much water falling from the sky. I also visited the floating markets (the real floating markets); there is also a floating market in Bangkok, but that one is only for tourists and quite boring. It was not easy to get there (to the real FM, approximately 70 km away from Bangkok) on my own, but after some hours I succeeded. I really loved the atmosphere. What else can I tell.....good food, good prices, nice markets where you can buy really nice ...
