Walking outside to leave and my daughter sees this (next to one that is dead. He is on his back and cannot get turned over. Being that we dislike these vile creatures, I went back inside, grabbed a hammer and cracked him good. He did not squish, instead a small crack appeared and he oozed out some white puss type matter that looked like rice. (Eww). Soaked the hammer in some bleach and left the house. We came home FOUR hours later, only to find that it had squirmed a few inches over and is STILL ALIVE!! Die disgusting bug! Oh my gosh... So, in an attempt to get a "better" shot at this thing, I scooted him out from under the stairs with a dried tree branch. It is STILL ALIVE!! When will it die?! Look at the pincher/fang things on the mouth! So disgusting. I dropped my camera at one point; thankfully not on the cockroach. Phew... Eventually it died (after being eaten by a feral cat, which I watched on my final check of it)! Thank you wild cat! I created this video at www.youtube.com
