Sometime in the late 70’s the "Elks" were to take the stage with the band rumored to be Paul McCcartney's favorite .....Islands !....This powerhouse of charisma and musical legend would grace the stage of the club that is often mentioned in the same hushed breath and reverential tone as the Cavern, CBGB's, or Lefty'st & Jim's in Warren....Yes ...Islands, who was on their top 10 band list , took to the stage at "Cyrus Erie" in North Ridgeville, Ohio....The mesmerized crowd that night was spellbound as the "Elk's" shared the stage with Islands....and there in the shadows was a lone figure with that world famous "do"..the mop top..Paul M the Mac himself !!! Singing & swaying to 1985....Paul loving every minute till....the encore....Islands has the crowd in a full tilt frenzy and then the opening chords ring out for "Rebel,Rebel".....McCartney was last seen vomiting as the crowd trampled him in their stampede to any exit available.......the party was over,,,,,,
