Gas prices made a record drop over the weekend. The average price of unleaded gasoline hit about 3-dollars-25 cents. While it is a big decline as compared to the national cost in recent months, the current gas prices are about 19-percent-more than the average price one-year-ago. The national debt clock ran out of digits on Saturday. Apparently, the digital counter reached about 10.2-trillion-dollars over the weekend, and according to the owner’s spokesperson, a new clock will replace the current one in 2009. The clock was originally put up in New York in the year 1989 when the US-government's debt was at 2.7-trillion-dollars. 25 students recently tested positive for Tuberculosis in Georgia. 175 tests were administered after an 11th-grade-student came down with a suspected case of TB. The positive results reportedly do not mean all 25-teenages have the disease, however, it does mean that the individuals came in contact with a Tuberculosis-infected person. Some 25-hundred-residents in Petrolia, Pennsylvania could return to their homes after being evacuated on Saturday. A local chemical plant had an overflowing tank that caused a toxic cloud of sulfuric acid over the area. Officials warned all people living within a 2-mile radius to leave their homes. 3-people were injured and all 25-hundred-individuals returned home on Sunday morning. And presidential-nominee, Senator John McCain, announced he will be a guest on David Letterman's show this Thursday. This comes 3-weeks after McCain cancelled his appearance on the late-night talk-show, due to the nature of the US-economic crisis.
