The city of andamp;lt;a href=andamp;quot; class=andamp;quot;kxInlineLinkandamp;quot;andamp;gt;Fargoandamp;lt;/aandamp;gt; could see major flooding this spring. Fargo Mayor andamp;lt;a href=andamp;quot; class=andamp;quot;kxInlineLinkandamp;quot;andamp;gt;Dennis Walakerandamp;lt;/aandamp;gt; says precipitation over the next month will determine the extent of the city’s flood threat.  Walaker thinks Fargo will see a andamp;lt;a href=andamp;quot; class=andamp;quot;kxInlineLinkandamp;quot;andamp;gt;Red Riverandamp;lt;/aandamp;gt; crest of 28 to 34 feet, and 30 feet is considered a major flood in Fargo. The most recent flood outlook from the andamp;lt;a href=andamp;quot; class=andamp;quot;kxInlineLinkandamp;quot;andamp;gt;National Weather Serviceandamp;lt;/aandamp;gt; indicates a 90 percent chance of flooding in the area. At 32 feet, a temporary dike would be built east of City Hall. A new flood forecast is due out next Friday.
