This is for strong1235, who asked me if I could beat gonzomax1’s time. He did somewhere around 6 minutes. I didn't have a timer, so I just held for as long as I could without a terrible breakdown in form. I held my legs above the box for 8 minutes and 53 seconds, from the 12 second mark to the 9:17 mark. I know, it looks like my legs are touching at parts. They are not. My pants are baggy, and I am sure people will want to see a no pants version, so I will pull my pants legs up next week and do it again. You can hear them hit the box when I decide to stop and see how much further down they go. I am not resting at any point. I also talk the entire time! I do not train for this kind of thing at all. The longest hold I do is a 30 second advanced tuck front lever in my warm ups. If you want to learn how to develop extremely high levels of maximal strength, explosive strength, plyometric strength and strength-endurance all at the same time from your head to the bottom of your feet, stay tuned to my videos and get registered on www.gymnasticbodies.com. The forum is free and full of good info. The Gymnastic Bodies program was created by Christopher Sommer, the team coach of the USA Jr. National Men's Gymnastic team. He has trained a long line of champions using this system, and it will work for you as well.
