Who is Shu? Hi. My name is Jim Shuster. I grew up working with my dad on a small family farm in Crum Creek NY. Crum Creek is located about 4 miles northwest of St.Johnsville, which is located just about dead center in NYS. I grew up fascinated with Louis Armstrong. I watched him every chance that I could. He was awesome with the trumpet. I was in 3rd grade when 'Hello Dolly' was a hit. I loved that tune from day one. I guess that I have never stopped singing it. I married Karie, the love of my life, on November 19th 2005. Because of complications with my job we decided to take our honeymoon the following year. That was a mistake. Our house burned in August 2006. Karie and I spent the next year rebuilding our home. On October 19th 2007 my wife was in the passenger seat with her daughter driving our 96 Nissan Altima when the nightmare began. They were stopped waiting to make a left turn when a girl driving a Ford Suburban plowed into the passenger door of our car. I figured that she must have confused the brake pedal with the gas pedal. She pushed our car across the road into the curb. When the collision was over, her suburban was on top of our car. The emergency crew had to cut my wife out of the car with the Jaws of Life. The girl had virtually no insurance. Today my wife is in a wheelchair taking about 500 mg of morphine a day to reduce her back pain.
