www.thinklikeahorse.org - Here I show how using herd draw and fear to help a horse learn. The little horse would not allow me to throw a rope over him until he gets tired of running and figures out that standing still and letting me throw a rope is easier than running and trying to stop me from throwing the rope over him. The horse had to figure this out and I had to be consistent with pressure and making the wrong thing hard and the right thing easy. The wrong thing was running and not allowing me to throw the rope, so the horse got continuous pressure while it ran, doing the wrong thing. When the horse stop running and allowed the rope, it got to stand still, so the right thing was easy, standing still and accepting was the right thing.
