Tri Chandra College and the road in front of it remained tense Wednesday morning after students affiliated to Nepal Students' Union (NSU) and All Nepal National Free Students' Union (ANNFSU) clashed with each other. The clash triggered after NSU students staged demonstration against the arrest of its two leaders - Sanjaya Yadav and Lok Prasad Siwakoti.A private car was vandalised and traffic obstructed in the course of the demonstrations and clashes.Yadav and Siwakoti were arrested rom Thamel on charge of attacking an ANNFSU cadre Birendra Raut.NSU has demanded immediate release of Yadav and Siwakoti and has warned of agitation otherwise.
