President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s historic peace mission carries him to Tunisia, the most pro-Western of the Arab nations and the smallest stop on his entire tour.  President Bourguiba presents an Arab steed and a cheering populace hails Ike. He travels by sea on the U.S.S Des Moines to the French shores where an enthusiastic reception in Toulon greets him. But in Paris, the character of Ike's mission is altered as he confers in momentous pre-summit talks with Charles De Gaulle, Adenauer and Macmillan that result in an invitation to Nikita Khrushchev for summit meetings in the Big Four capitals.
