John McCainâ??s commitment to making certain Israel maintains its qualitative military edge.â?? The threat posed by the regime in Tehran, with the Iranian president calling for Israel to be "wiped off the map," suggesting that Israel’s Jewish population should return to Europe, and describing Israel a "stinking corpse" that is "on its way to annihilation."â?? Naïve talk of a meeting with the Iranian leadership without preconditions â?? a route Barrack Obama has proposed and is committed to pursuing â?? which would do little beyond strengthening the position of radicals and hardliners and giving them the appearance of respectability.â?? John McCainâ??s strong support of an amendment calling for the designation of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization responsible for killing American troops in Iraq. The bill had over three quarters of the Senate support. â?? Barack Obamaâ??s NON-SUPPORT of an amendment calling for the designation of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization responsible for killing American Troups in Iraq, citing that it would send the "wrong message not only to the world, but also to the region."â??
