While it may be a pitcher’s era, there are plenty of hitters available on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues that can offer some solid production. Fantasy sports expert Rob Shaw goes around the horn to offer a player at each position in the infield. First at catcher, Shaw says it's time to offer Jorge Posada another opportunity to provide you with power while manning the DH for the Bronx Bombers. Next, Shaw goes to first base where Mets utility infielder Daniel Murphy offers consistency and a high average. At second base, Shaw discusses a rising star as Danny Espinosa is looking like a serious Rookie of the Year contender. At shortstop, Jeff Keppinger reminds Shaw of Murphy because of his consistency despite a lack of power and speed. Finally, at third base Ty Wigginton is the hottest hitter in baseball with four home runs over the last four games. For more fantasy insight visit BloombergSports.com.
