Deborah Baker talked about her book The Convert: A Tale of Exile and Extremism, in conversation with Karen Long. The book is about the life of Margaret Marcus, a secular Jewish woman from New York, who, in 1962, moved to Pakistan and converted to Islam.   This was an event in the University Center’s Lake Room at the 2011 Chicago Tribune Printers Row Lit Fest.
