Jojomo’s travel blog entry: "With no preconceptions about what Bosnia would be like, we headed off with our hangovers for a day trip to another country. We stopped for delicious oysters and admired the view as we left Croatia, then had our passports checked and headed out for a swim. We stopped in a valley with the most amazing waterfalls. Not quite as amazing as plitvice, but we were allowed to swim in these ones. The water was a bit cold but it was the crashing water, the beautiful greenery and the stunning rock faces that took my breath away. Spent some time standing under the falls, getting massages from the pounding water and marvelling at the beauty of it all. Then had an adrenaline rush from swinging out into the water on a high rope. Headed off to have a delicious lunch of lamb on a spit. Then off to Mostar, a major town in Bosnia, and one which had been hit during the war. Its so strange to see buildings with bullet holes and mortar shells around them. The old town was lovely though, ancient walls, cobbled streets and cool shops. Stopped to have a drink in a cave bar, and unfortunately, I think this was the place I lost my wallet. Was so upset in the car ride home. Lost a bit of cash and am having to replace my credit card and atm card. Luckily, a) the card hadnt been used when i canceled it, and ...
