"Modern Family" bombshell Sofia Vergara wont be hitting the big screen for 'The Smurfs' in the franchise’s signature blue, but Vergara has a lot of praise for her animated cast mates, complimenting co-star Katy Perry as "the perfect voice for Smurfette." Vergara says she grew up watching "The Smurfs" in Columbia, and although she (like many other little girls) always wanted to be Smurfette, she finds Katy Perry to be "adorable" in the previews she's seen so far.Sofia plays the real-life character of Odile in the big-screen adaptation.
