 I was lucky enough to have a fun day driving down the Great Ocean Road recently with Dave and Kimmi where Dave experienced a lot of firsts with Australian wildlife. All of the animals in this video are in the wild - we didn’t visit any zoos. The koalas and King Parrots are in the same area near Kennett River. Although they are wild, the parrots like to land on people to be fed (no such luck with the koalas). The kangaroos are at Anglesea - during the day they roam wild in the hills and at dusk they like to come down to the golf course to graze. A lot of them have collars and tags because they are being tracked in order to monitor the health and size of the mob.
