The internet has become a great resource for many in terms of education, recreation, and work-related issues. But there’s a darker side to cyberspace that has officials concerned. Broadcast websites such as youtube and myspace may be opening the door for artists, musicians, filmmakers, but it's also leading to what officials are calling a growing phenomenon of recorded violent or cruel acts that are finding their way to the internet for entertainment purposes.
