The rain continues across the Austin area and in surrounding towns. A flash flood watch is in effect until noon Thursday. Parts of Central Texas have received up to three inches of rain, and more is expected to fall.Drivers need to take notice of flooded roads and streets in the area.Barricades are set-up at several low-lying spots across the city and surrounding areas. If you see one, turn around. Don’t try to cross a flooded crossing. Only a few inches of water can lift a vehicle and carry it downstream.
