## Shot 08/13/2008. ## Ex-cop gets 440 years ## Former police officer Jeff Pelo was sentenced to 440 years in prison for raping four women and stalking a fifth. ## Jeff Pelo was convicted in June of 35 charges. In the courtroom Tuesday, he slouched forward in his chair as the sentence was read but otherwise didn’t react as the sentence. Pelo's wife and daughters were not in the courtroom. Earlier Tuesday afternoon, Judge Robert Freitag denied a defense attorney's motion for a new trial for Pelo.
