Julie and I rant about this graduate student from Monday’s exhibition meeting. NO, sir, we CANNOT have the opening on FIRST FRIDAY because the schedule was developed based on department availability. I can't speak for ID or Multimedia, but GD has degree project presentations that week. First Friday is a no go. You can have your own little opening on First Friday if you want. In the video I say he's an MID (Master's of Industrial Design) major, but...now that I remember how he was dressed, he was probably a grad from Museum Studies. For everyone else: our interdisciplinary design show featuring the work from seniors Graphic Design (WHOO!), Multimedia, Industrial Design, Museum Studies (second year graduates), and MID (second year graduates) will open on Friday, April 29 (aka NOT First Friday) at The Gallery at Market East (10th-11th & Market) in Philadelphia. A blog for the exhibition will be up within the next few weeks.
