Went to visit a brand new 'white' temple - the whole of the outside was covered in white plasters with little mirror mosiacs inlaid so it sparkled in the sun - it really was amazing. Pete thought it looked like something out of a cartoon. I think its just outside Chiang Rai. Lady unlocked 'western' loo for me to use instead of 'squat' which was nice! Up to Golden Triangle - from this point you can see Burma, Thailand and Loas - took a short boat trip to Laos. Tasted the snake whisky - rough but apparently good for the love life.
